Ren Hurst, NP
Completed two undergrad degrees in Biology and Psychology before obtaining bachelor’s in nursing through an accelerated program in 2009. Worked a short stint in a pediatric clinic before transitioning to adult inpatient care. Started in emergency care in 2010 and spent over 12 years as an emergency room nurse with over 4 years as a travel nurse in a variety of facilities before returning to school. Graduated from the University of Tampa in 2022 and returned to California to start work as a nurse practitioner in Urgent Care, quickly realized that she wanted to specialize in cancer care.
Returned to Monterey in 2023 (travel nurse in the area between 2017-2019). She loves to travel and dreams of visiting all 7 continents (only 2 left!). She loves spending time at the beach and surfing when conditions permit. She works with a local animal rescue fostering dogs until they find their forever homes.
